LaVeta Jarrett
LaVeta Jarrett APRN, FNP-BC, PMHNP-BC, CCMH is a board-certified psychiatric nurse practitioner with more than a 15 years of experience supporting clients through a wide range of challenges, including mood disorders (depression and bipolar disorder), anxiety, PTSD, personality disorders, cultural stressors, and crisis care. She is also a PSIP (Psychedelic Somatic Interactional Psychotherapy)–certified practitioner, trained in a specialized, body-based approach that helps individuals process trauma stored in the nervous system and regain a sense of safety, connection, and regulation. In addition, she provides advanced treatment options such as esketamine, ketamine, and other innovative modalities for individuals experiencing severe or treatment-resistant trauma. Alongside these offerings, she delivers compassionate medication management for those navigating life’s challenges.
Her approach is holistic and integrative, considering the biological, psychological, and social factors that shape each client’s mental health. LaVeta takes time to educate clients about their treatment options, offering clear guidance on the potential risks and benefits of medication while encouraging continued therapy to support long-term stability and growth.
LaVeta is dedicated to providing empathetic, comprehensive, and ethically grounded psychiatric care, partnering with clients as they cultivate resilience, healing, and lasting wellness.
